The Signs of a Repair Job Needed

St. Michael Heater ServicesThere are a few things to look at. Below is a small list to get you started.

  1. Check to see if your attic is properly insulated. That means adding in or taking away vents if need be. If the attic is not properly ventilated, the heat can build up. This is never a good thing. If your ventilation is not up to where it needs to be, then you need to get your heater repaired.
  2. Check the thermostat, both near the doors and windows. The thermostat should be at about 68 degrees. If you have it any higher, it's going to add energy to your home and bill. You don't want this. Adjust your thermostat. If your thermostat is broken, you have two choices. You can either get another one or spend money on heater maintenance Your best bet is to work on the thermostat first.
  3. Insulate the windows. This will go along way from having to do heater repair right away.
